Before Your Tan Appointment

Before your appointment follow the below instructions to ensure the best tan application.

  1. Exfoliate Gently
Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your session using a non-oil-based scrub or mitt. Focus on areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and heels to ensure an even tan.

  2. Hair Removal Timing
Complete any shaving or waxing at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This allows your skin to recover and pores to close, promoting a smoother application.

  3. Avoid Skin Barriers
On the day of your tan, avoid applying lotions, oils, deodorants, perfumes, or makeup. These can create barriers that affect the tanning solution's absorption.

  4. Schedule Beauty Treatments Ahead
Plan manicures, pedicures, facials, or massages at least 24 hours before your tanning session to prevent interference with the tanning process.

  5. Shower Smart
If you need to shower before your appointment, do so at least 4 hours in advance using cool water and no soap. This helps maintain your skin's natural pH balance.

  6. Dress Comfortably
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and open-toed shoes to your appointment. This prevents any rubbing or smudging of the tanning solution post-application.
